The Chimney Balloon is an effective and inexpensive way of preventing heat escape up your chimney, wasting both energy and money. The Chimney Balloon will also stop unwanted draughts entering the room from the chimney whilst allowing a small volume of air to ventilate around the chimney to keep the chimney dry.
The Chimney Balloon is quick and easy to inflate and comes in a number of different sizes (please see sizing chart for more info), easy to position in place and requiring very little maintenence other than a check now and then to ensure that it is still in optimum position and does not require further inflation.
Manufactured from a thin and flexible tri-laminate (tough outer later, air barrier layer and a heat shrink layer), the Chimney Balloon has been specifically designed to deflate and shrivel if not removed prior to lighting a fire. This ingenious feature means that smoke and fumes can escape up the chimney quickly and safely.
